Well at least it wasn't the refs that cost us this one.

Bruins capitalized on their chances and the Leafs missed too many of theirs.

Unfortunately, 2 of 3 on the road doesn't look good right now. Matthews played his best hockey of the series so far. If he can do that on the road we may have a shot.

Kypreos is 100% right about that icing shift.

I was saying it before, the 3rd and 4th line played too much with them being down by 2 goals (twice).

Babcock 100% should have put on Matthews / Tavares / Marner / Rielly and Gardiner in that situation and just keep the tired Bruins 3rd line stuck in their own zone. Going into the 3rd period, making it 4-3 would have changed it completely.

So, it's still past his bedtime, just on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Then clearly it is past his bedtime. He needs to get to bed pronto if he wants to be up to greet the dawn!

As I understand it, this is a thing.

Every time Drake is in the arena they lose.

Drake was in attendance tonight.

Bite him and give him rabies. That'll teach him. Go get rabies first, if necessary.

If both the Leafs and Bruins win another game, we could see a 7 game series.
- Thecakeisalie

With proper coaching, we could get to game 8.

Good news is the Leafs have been really good on the road all year.

Thought the leafs were gonna tie it up there, I missed the second but they had a lot of good chances
- Upstate_isles

They pushed pretty hard in the second half of the third. Sucks they couldn't tie it up.

Interestingly, Bruins fans were saying the exact same thing on HFBoards after games 1 and 3

This is a highly entertaining series, great matchup looks like a 7 game series
- Upstate_isles

I think it will be six games.

Whoever wins game 5, wins the series the next game.

I sure hope so. Tied at 4 games a piece. Then settled with a shootout. That's how you do a playoff series the right way.

We beat ourselves tonight. No intensity. No killer instinct. No desperation.

Even after we brought it back to 5-4 there was next to no push. How the team can't be fired up and rejuvenated after that is mind boggling.

Does Babs even have a plan? Taking a timeout at 5-4 to regroup and focus might have been a good idea, and why isn't our best out there for the final few minutes? Unbelievable.

Just a massive blown opportunity.

On to Boston 2-2.
