My grill hit 600 degrees and I fired that rib eye for a few.

My god it was glorious.

Preach. I blaze mine up to like 700 for a good 10-15 minutes every spring to kill off all the mice poop in there.

As much fun as the reverse jinx joke has been, be serious, the Bruins have sucked in the playoffs against anyone other than the Leafs for the past 5 years.

I'm not sure the Blue Jackets are any easier to beat than the Lightning after what they proved they can do.

They might be that "team of destiny" the NHL seems to have every year now.

Columbus looked very good against Tampa. If they keep that up, I don't think the Leafs or Boston get past them.

Also, highly recommend not watching at a bar.

All the Leaf haters come out. Had a dude in a Flames hat screaming like a wounded teenage girl every time the Bruins scored. Like really? You're really this excited? Your Leaf hatred has consumed you completely, has it?

What’s a reverse jinx?

The Bruins won a cup recently. That was fun

I’d love to know how many teams that win the cup wrap up series early. I don’t think there’s a correlation let alone a causation.

When the Bruins won in 2011 3 of their 4 series went 7 games.

This concerns me as to how you had a very specific realization of that sound.

We beat ourselves tonight. No intensity. No killer instinct. No desperation.

Even after we brought it back to 5-4 there was next to no push. How the team can't be fired up and rejuvenated after that is mind boggling.

Does Babs even have a plan? Taking a timeout at 5-4 to regroup and focus might have been a good idea, and why isn't our best out there for the final few minutes? Unbelievable.

Just a massive blown opportunity.

On to Boston 2-2.

I was at the game and completely disagree. Lots of intensity. Tons of heart. I’ve been a season ticket holder in the greys/purples since 1990. Dominated overall but Boston capitalized at times and bounces didn’t go our way. Neither did the calls, we needed a bit better PK. They didn’t panic. Came back hard. 2 down. Fought back. 3 down mid third - didn’t fold or give in. Underlying stats from other sites back up just how dominant they were. Give that same effort and composure every game and they would win 7-8/10 times. They didn’t tonight but showed me a lot. This team is still in this series. Even if they don’t win, the traits they are showing bode very well for the future as this core matures.

Best game the leafs played in a long time. They were all over Boston. They scored on most of their chances leafs didn't. No idea what you're talking about.

It happens. Too bad you didn’t get Tampa in the first round, that way he couldn’t be out coached, even from the grave.

Watching this Calgary game has made me notice their shoulder patches of Alberta.

And then that made me think how entertaining it might be to watch a tournament of all the provinces like they do with curling except it'd actually be worth watching.

I screamed on the 1st Boston goal. Leafs killed a min 45 seconds. Then hyman and kapanen laid up a freebie on the pp. No pressure and let the bruins walk in. You could tell they were thinking defense all the way instead of putting pressure on the shooter.

Leafs just looked confused tonight. Cross between run and gun and trying to play defense and they got caught somewhere in the middle.
