He played well with them down the stretch, but got exposed more in the playoffs. They get on him for not having skill to complement his forwards.

And Letang is far and above their best D.

it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was 2 or 3. Draft feels quite a bit like "your guess is as good as any" when it comes to the first round, and in particular, the top 15 picks.

Hughes was ranked 7-10, he was picked where projections expected him to go. I think he was their guy all along.
