For figuring out #NYR's pick, here's the rule of thumb:

Of the 4 teams that will make the conf finals, how many will be lower-seeded than WPG?

4 teams = #18 overall pick
3 teams = #19 overall pick
2 teams = #20 overall pick
1 team = #21 overall pick
0 teams = #22 overall pick

he could go anywhere from 3rd overall to 20th

If it’s strickly based on seeding, I’d Dallas, Toronto, and Vegas win this round, that’s guaranteed 3 teams (Dallas vs St Louis, Toronto vs Columbus, Vegas vs Colorado a lower seed than Winnipeg is guaranteed to advance). If the Washington/Carolina winners beats NYI, we’d get the 4th team with a lower seeding
