he's been trying to get Rasmus Andersson for a month now

it's his new Coyle

- jimbro83

Let's trade Hank, Georgiev and Lias Andersson to Edmonton for Draisaitl, and then Edmonton flips Georgiev to Calgary for Rasmus Andersson. Everybody wins.

I am a BIG fan of Andersson too, its just that I know its going to take an overwhelming offer to get them to trade him. He would be the perfect addition to our blueline !

if they have cap troubles why would they trade a guy who they play so much who is signed to only 750K next year?

that would be senseless for Calgary

Only problem is we have to keep Andersson to help drive Sam crazy with two on the team.

That wasn't a joke. That was a realistic deal in Ranger9485297419347's world. Hell, let's through in a 7th rounder to give it a KPE touch!

Hence the phrase " overwhelming offer ". We agree here Jim, but he really would be a great acquisition ------- just a very costly one.

I think Hank will love the mentor role in his last year's. I think he's a smart guy that wants to go out on a good note even tho winning might not be a part of that. I don't think he wants a be that crotchety old man that don't let the young guy take over. Idk just my opinion.

speaking of Calgary, they didn't even dress James Neal last night, dressed Czarnik instead and only played him 5 minutes

what a mess

I posted that yesterday.

It's bad, but I could see a cap floor team looking to add him if the Flames add in something or multiple somethings.

if a cap floor team intends on being a cap floor team until 2023 when Neal's contract ends, they need to fold

what the hell was Calgary thinking

Calgary is screwed even worse than that IMO. A floor team might either want a Bobby Ryan who might have more utility left, or just absorb someone like Lucic where they might get more sweetners.

I could see Ottawa trading for him. The Flames would probably have to add a couple of draft picks or a draft pick and prospect. They have like 38 million dollars in cap space for next year.

Neal's deal doesn't havea any NTC or NMC. He's probably harder to move because of the term left, but easier in the sense that he can't block a deal.

Edit: Lucic has a full NMC. Ryan has a NMC and M-NTC.

I'm torn on the Caps/Canes... I WANT the Hurricanes to win, but I think the Caps will beat the Islanders. I don't want the Isles winning another game this year.
