The Sabres should be able to do better than CS after next season, or at least someone who can consistently fall down at a cheaper price. - PrinceChill
So Gus isn't good enough in that role?

Playing with Hughes has helped. Nonetheless though he’s a good player and will probably be in the discussion with our pick at 7.

What's notable about Gus is that he's as prone to falls as Sheary, and he's 35 pounds heavier.

Could be worse.
We could have Myers back doing snow angels 5x’s a game.

I think Drew Stafford is available...how long till they're burning Pegula in effigy in the streets if that happens?

11 sounds right. I think he’s a top 15 lock. I don’t know if he goes 5 or 6 though like Gerbe said. All it takes is one team to fall in love with him though. Kid scores goals better then anyone else in the draft class.

Sheary can't match the RPF (Revolutions per Fall) that Gus does. Sheary falls, and Gus spins and falls. Two different skills.

Then they could bring back Ruff, Vanek, Miller, and Pommer. Roy is available too, I imagine.

Having a player like him would do this team wonders and having a guy with a chip on his shoulder always helps
