Save it. You can never have the perspective of anyone else. I didn't say everyone was or wasnt.
But your 'I saw a black guy...or Tiger Woods has white fans!"
Is laughable and sad.
JUST LISTEN TO EACH OTHER. LISTEN AND DISCUSS WITH SOMEONE IN PERSON DIFFERENT FROM YOURSELF, WHO DOES FEEL MARGINALIZED.
Is a great start. - DrMidnite
What’s laughable? I saw a black guy etc.
If you can’t remember you asked me if I was white so what I wrote was completely relevant.
I’ve spoken to plenty of people who actually dealt with real rascism and real homophobia.
There are things we agreed on and things we didn’t. So what. If I don’t accept an ideology or lifestyle so what.
Do I feel the need to go on a crusade to stop it. That would be no.
This whole things go both ways.

Ask a black person or a brown person if racism is everywhere, and see what they say. - feelingkettle
Already have.
Talk to a older person of another race and ask them if rascism is everywhere.
Many will laugh in your face.
I completely refute the premise that’s there is rascism everywhere.
I love listening to Thomas Sowell. Listen to his speeches. He explains this much better than I am. |

Honestly doesn't matter what you think, because if you think racism doesn't pop up everywhere, you have lived a life where it hasn't affected you. Therefore, you don't really understand how it is still a huge part of our society, even though things are getting better.
The N word on online video games.
Confererate pride
People thinking if Obama was elected, racism must be gone
Anti semetism, anti muslim, etc.
Honestly you need to talk to people who are directly affected by it. The fact that you think racism isn't still alive and well because you saw a black dude and a white dude hang out shows that you're not quite there yet. |

And redskins and Indians. Braves etc. I'm not going to be able to recognize this franchise anymore. Seems like part of the team's history is being erased here. |

I always knew most of the commenters here were also frequenters of Breitbart and infowars. Sometimes when I’m bored I’ll go over there and try to figure out which one is which hockeybuzz poster. |

Wrong
What it’s means is that by and large racism isn’t everywhere.
I know black people who drop the N word constantly. If that word was so oppressive they would never use it.
30 plus year old friend of mine says he hasn’t been called that since high school.
Obama got elected because millions of white folks voted for him.
Have you ever played Grand Theft Auto? Here’s a hint it isn’t all silver spoon white kids playing it.
Maybe you should learn what racism really is because your not there yet.
I have never seen a burning cross on someone’s lawn. I’ve never seen a sign banning black people on buses stores diners.
What I do see is society ie. Media and politicians coddling people by their ethnicity etc. If you mean racism is prevalent then ok yes.
Living my life and going about my day no people don’t give a poop about what color you are, who your having relations with or what religion you are.
It’s actually I nice thing to experience maybe you should try it sometime. |

Oh so you’ve met every person in this country and had a in depth conversation with them?
Um I’ve been to almost all of Europe, half the Caribbean, and almost half of the United States. Worked in the worse parts of philly for a number of years. I think I have a pretty good handle on experiences. |

Yea the rangers are an organization that hold on to their pre color barrier History and acknowledge it. The Perfect organization for racists. (High five) |

Here we go? What does that have to do with anything?
I interact with people everyday. Different people everyday. I see white people being friends with black people and Hispanic people and vice versa.
I see guys going out of their way to teach someone of another race and have a smile doing it.
I see white people embracing the fact that Tiger Woods won the Masters after all his setbacks.
While oh my I saw black guy get invited to a graduation party by a white guy in ACE Hardware.
How many white people voted for Obama.
Reread what I said. In case you won’t read back I said rascism isn’t everywhere I didn’t say it’s nowhere.
Maybe you think the United States is just one big rascist country. If so I feel bad for you because that’s not what I witness when I walk out my door everyday. - bird_dog_pa
Drmidnight is basically pc principle from south park. Sad how some people play into racism being a way bigger issue than it is, because it’s really a non issue. Fun fact, slavery at its peak, only 1.6 percent of people owned slaves in 1860. AT ITS PEAK. |
