Hard to be stressed when there has been only 2-3 chances that had an above average chance of going in.

Those are the games we lose because our defense makes the most egregious brain farts. You can close them off for 59:30 of a game, but that 30 second lapse will be a doozy.

Well we knew that it wasnt gonna be a blow out.
But sh!t, lets go leafs. Boston doesnt seem to be on their game

Rask is going to have chest bruises. There is literally zero scoring punch. Hitting somewhere other than the goalies chest or the backboards would be a good start.

No, just an observation. Bruins can't score, they get frustrated, they start to take unnecessary risks (like they did on their 3rd PP) and the Leafs get counter attacks.

I assumed so.
This game doesn't have a playoff vibe too it. Neither one is bringing it enough.

Yea, Bruins have been angels. No trips, slew foots, holds, hooks or cross-checks.

Watched the Bruins a few time this year against other teams, and it's the same thing. Very odd.

Both teams are playing safe and a little scared. Nobody wants to make the first mistake.

It's definitely a playoff game between two teams who respect each other and are tied 2-2.

I sincerely hope the Leafs players aren't complaining as much as some of their fans because then they really won't get any calls.

Sounds more like a game of chess than hockey.
To be fair, sometimes that's just the way hockey be, though.
I just hope for the sake of entertainment that whoever lets in the first one doesn't sink and shows some push back.
Unless it's OT. Then (frank) the Broons.

With the Bruins going 0 for 3 on the PP and not getting the 1st goal, it's starting to feel like the Bruins are running out of bullets and the Leafs will get the 1st goal.
- JohnFergusonJr

If you're a Leaf fan you feel better than Bruins fans. They've had a big advantage and failed to capitalize.

Leafs generally shoot to score. Not so great at shooting to create rebounds and secondary chances. Leads to a lot of easy saves and missed shots indeed.

Can you honestly say the Hyman trip was worse than what he got going to the net?

The last game was 6-4 and it's a pivotal game. No surprise that both teams are playing tighter this game.

It’s because they’re such a dirty team, that when they’re not actively headhunting, the refs say “they’re being good” and don’t call them.

For sure. Sloppy Run and Gun in the playoffs is rare and trying such can be costly.
If the Leafs show some patience and get a powerplay or two, then I think they have a good chance. I knew special teams would be an important facor in this series, but it may very well be the deciding factor.

Yeah I am sitting here with a Habs fan who is a (frank)ing assshole (shocker). I just asked him if the Leafs deserved 2 penalties.

Easy to be a Leaf hater or a Bruins fan and think everything is fair. It is *always* fair when it goes your way against all reason given the 5 v 5 play.
