It was a legitimate no goal. Everyone hates the rule but the call was correct, you can't push a goalie's pads with your stick and score a goal.

I'll let Upstate chime in and probably tell me I'm wrong, but it seems like the rule was properly applied.

Well I was skating myself and didn't see it but a goal cant ever be scored by pushing the goalie over the line.

I thought the ref had the intent to blow the whistle and that’s why it was waved off.
