I’m sure this sucks balls, but The flames are good. Coupla minor tweaks maybe.

Much like the other 1 seed going down, this only proves two things

1. The league has so much parity

2. Of course the goal is the cup, but The playoffs are are a crapshoot and not nearly as indicative as the reg season on who the leagues best teams are. So much needs to go right. Luck, health, tending, coupla bounces, momentum etc

Don’t despair too much flames fans

Definitely not time to blow it all up. This team made a ton of strides this season regardless of how the first round went. Tweak a few things, take the experience, and move forward.

I for one didn’t want to see the avs in the playoffs. They have made the playoffs now 4 out of five years with the same core group they are a good team. and this shows this young flames team that you can have the best regular season ,but you better be ready and that also comes down to a rookie head coach ( in the playoffs) they will learn from this do some minor changes and be ready for September
