(frank) it. Matthews had a bunch of marginal calls not go his way.

Close judgement call went our way for a change. Brewns can suck it.

At about this time Auston Matthews is loading up to let go a bullet. Does Rask have a hope of stopping it?

- winsix

Dunno, rask is in the middle of the crease by that time..and ive seen crazier saves.
Like i said, the leafs have been screwed on so many goals it was nice to finally see one go their way.
But i can why some are pissed, usually its leafs fans, nice to see shoe is other foot.

In my humble opinion, that goal should not have counted.

But you know what? It counted, so mop up your tears and move on.

I'm not going to aplolgize as a Leafs fan for a bad call that went our way.

Don't like it?

Then keep crying. Just don't expect me to care.

- Atomic Wedgie

How about the cross check from Chara that floored Hyman moments earlier? That should have counted.

As per the goal? Meh... incidental contact with Rask who was way out of position and would have zero chance to make that save. Leafs - and Matthews in particular - have had plenty of bs called back this season that it's nice to see one actually go our way.

Rask took himself so far out of position prior to Muzzin's pass - that whether or not Hyman, mugged him, bump him, impeded him, cut off his head or simply back gently into in the crease - Rask wasn't getting to that shot.

What I have yet to see is if the officials had their arms up in the air to call the obvious cross check on Chara which happened 2 secs prior to that.... 'cause obviously then the Bruins could complain that the refs were distracted because they had their arms blocking their view.

seriously this stuff is such a monumental load of BS.

and once again, Ron Maclean leading the charge with the post game diatribe on "should we feel sorry for Bruins fans"... "Refs can't make that call", blah blah blah.

Where were you Ron "Mr Canada" , "Mr Fair Play" when the entirety of Game 2 happened? f_____ absent.

Where were you on "controlling" Don Cherry's horsecrap during and after Game 2. Slew foots are dangerous. No kidding. Who's the league's biggest offender... no DonC it's not Connor Brown.

I would like to see a highlight reel with two things in it... "Chara's greatest cross checks" and "Bruins whining after penalty calls"...

and DonC buddy... "let's go grab a beer and talk about the Bruins too many men on the ice penalty last night"... DonC you know who calls those? that's right the linesman... should bring back some great memories for you.

Hughson... greatest quote of the night "Hyman clearly interferes with MacAvoy there"...

disingenuous from the beginning to the end of every broadcast.

- BorjeFan4Ever

Ya had to shake my head at McLean for that. Sorry for bruins fans? Nah fack that. Chara and marchand get away with so much.

Yeah seriously. How can they not figure this out with all their millions of dollars is crazy
- Archaic

You know how difficult it is to screen out all the angles that prove its offside and broadcast them.

In my defence, I do have a hangover.

Franking cleaning lady is coming at 10:30, so I'll have to get up and go somewhere.

It's too embarrassing to be here, and have her see what kind of filthy pig I am.

I packed my clothes for the weekend and onl did one pair of pants, which were my best...had a hole in the ass somewhere between Thursday and Friday after the drive. Had to go to Marks real quick or be in shorts all weekend (which I would love)

Quick question because I wasn't able to see online but who on NBC has or will be covering the game on sunday for this series?

If that delightful tandem of Gord Miller and Ray Ferraro is calling it I might switch over for the broadcast

IMO, the Bruins goal shouldn't have counted either. It looked offside. So the calls evened out

Exactly. So much was let go for the Bruins in game 2 and we often get the shaft. Good to see one go our way for once. Leafs were the better team last night anyways so it's all good. Bruins should have capitalized when the refs gifted them 2 of the first 3 powerplays of the game.

Refer to a magical external force and imply that things will even out is just a dumb argument that makes it so that you dont have to make a comment or suggest a fix.

On top of the stupidity of making the Leafs game at 3pm tomorrow, they're putting the Marlies game on at the same time again.

No problems with this. Wasnt gonna watch marlise anyways. Plus, I can get ass faced drunk and not worry about going to bed late and being a massive mess the next day for work. Especially if they win.

It's awful for me. Leafs and Marlies start at 3pm and the Jays at 4pm.

I mean, I got 3 TV's hooked up so I can watch all 3 at once, but I like focusing on them all completely.

The only powerplay we got was a too many men call.. Other than that, the Booins got away with everything.

The goal was debatable, the league needs to be more consistent
My opinion: Hyman was not in blue paint,
Good goal!
Boston was off side... but hey take it!
Boston has gotten every call in this series...its almost comical, 2 of the 3 penalties called on the leafs last night were terrible.
Chara is by far the dirtiest player in the playoffs, he should have at least a bakers dozen penalties in this series so far.
May the best team win.

I think it's better for hockey if good goals are called on borderline goalie interference plays. I like the call and I'd like to see more like it. It's a real downer when minor contact, especially towards the outside of the crease, gets a goal called back. By the same token, something should be done about offside review. Whether a player is just onside or a few inches offside isn't going to affect the outcome of the play.

None of the Bruin team including their coaches had melt down over it.
