I’m still writing them off for the 2nd round, I think Lehner is a huge reason for everything.

So I think they got eliminated in 5...unless Carolina somehow manages to win

Either way I’ve been wrong before and the playoffs are (frank)ed so who knows.

I mean, I think most people would have been very surprised before the season if told where you would finish, but we now have several month's evidence that the Isles are the real deal. Helps having one of the (if not *the*) best systems coaches in the league to keep everyone in the right structure

They always play the caps tight and went 7 a few years ago but very different team. Lehner makes saves but they keep the high danger ones to a minimum and shots to the outside. They counter well and d wins in the playoffs will be interesting to see if they can do it again

If there is some massive mistake that a ref made that clearly shows a foot offside or something let the war room interrupt the game.

And that is exactly why it’s a non issue. Both goals could have been called back but they were both allowed. Either way, leafs win by one.
