Do you ever wonder why a guy like Skinner has averaged 23 assists a year through 9 seasons ? Do you ever think its because every offensive possession in their zone whenever the puck is on his stick its directed towards the net ?

The guy scores 40 goals this year and was 86th this year in PPG. 80 f******* 6th. One dimenisonal goal scorer who has no playmkaing ability whatsoever and can't play defense.

There is a place for Skinner on the Sabres, just like there is a place for Cam Atkinson on the Columbus Blue Jackets. However the CBJ's aren't paying Atkinson $9M a year and if you look at their roster right now try telling me he is more important to that team then Panarin, Bobrovsky, Duchene, Dubois, Jones, and Werenski are.

If the Sabres pay a one dimensional hockey player that much money how do we surround Eichel, Dahlin, and Reinhart with our own Bobrovsky, Panarin, Duchene ? Where is the money going to come from ?

I became a Sabres fan in 2006. I still root for the Sabres today. I’m just happy I’m a Broncos fan and still have some logic left and I’m not a completely delusional Buffalo Sports fan. Most passionate fan base there is but when Jack Eichel is equivalent to Derek Roy, and I have a whole message board trying to convince me a hockey player with the 86th best PPG is a top winger in the league, that is hysterical. Mark Stone is 3x the player Skinner is and they should not be paid the same amount of money at all.
