I think Habs fans don't really hate the Leafs team. They just hate Leafs fans. This thread is another example of why everyone hope you never win anything since nobody wants to hear you guys gloat until the end of times.

I would say that is accurate. It is the same vice versa. I actually like a number of the Habs players (Gallagher being my fave Hab)... but the Habs fans I know away from these boards are complete (frank)ing bumholes. So in the reverse situation, I would cheer for Boston also
