Not a country club regular who has a cushy spot atop our LHD depth chart. Hughes shouldn’t be forced to play RHD just because he’s willing to. He’s a legit star & should be put in the best possible position we can put him in (partnered with Tanev).

But you know what St Louis does have? They have their 1st round picks (and later) from the 2010 era, in their prime, leading the team. Making a move for O’Reilly made sense for them, and it’s paying off. In 4 or 5 years, when Petey and Boeser are mature, and more capable of dominating a game I’m all for “bold moves”.
