I followed every game this year and caught a few to watch. I seen the hilights and the lowlights This is exactly what I thought. He is a wild card in his own end and puck battles were non existing. He would have been destroyed in the NHL but he would have put up a goal or two and a few assists. - VANTEL
He is really really smooth on the PP so even if he can become average or just below average defensively, he'd be a positive addition to a team that needs PP help and offense from the back end. Comets missed his presence on the PP when he was out |

They did miss his PP but more so they had a lot of injuries to their regulars McEneny Sautner Chatfield. Then Sautner Briesbois being called up.
There is no doubt of his skill in the O zone but he gave up a lot of soft goals . Like you said his stick was how he played D. He got beat to the outside often and lost puck battles in his own end. He played a lot like Pouliot in his own zone. But he can put up points. |

It's amazing how much better our drafting got when Brackett took charge of the draft in 2017. |

I am going to go on a limb and say that a team of all stars that has Reid Bocher and Michael Dal Colle on it is probably not that hard to make.
I will turn down your bet and make you a 5 dollar bet that I could probably still make the AHL all stars .

Before Booner goes on about Crosby/Malkin, let’s take away his Pittsburgh stats

Brackett may be Gillis best move. |

Nice to see everyone's feeling surly and argumentative after a relaxing long weekend!
New blog is up: Mikey DiPietro is continuing to do his thing, plus we'll have two goalies and three skaters to watch this year at Worlds:
