I know a lot on here share your opinion and very few share mine. The team we signed last year was by choice of JB . He could have easily made upgrades and I do believe last year was not the year but I do believe this year is the year to make moves.

Trouba is a free agent this year and Wpg have little cap room. I have no problem with the 2020 first for him and if we need to add more like a Jake or Gaudette I am still okay with it.

I just listed similar players/picks to what St Louis gave up. I don’t think it is in the Canucks best interest (long term) to be trading away multiple young players/picks for one guy who is an upgrade in the top 6. Buffalo would certainly have wanted the 2018 1st rounder.

Yes but again big ice & not against NHLers. I could be wrong & still pass on him. Ehlers shows me size does matter.
