I know you have this negative feeling about the Leafs 24/7 but put that away and open your eyes for a second.

Swap the word negative for positive.

What's hilarious is you're calling him exactly what you are but in the opposite direction.

- JohnFergusonJr

Leafs up 3-2 and have been the better team this series.

Yep. No reasons to be positive and all the reason to be negative.

Use logic man, it’ll help you in life.

I disagree with plenty of things you say.

I bet you said Bruins in 4 or 5.

Wrong about that.

And now it’s 3-2 Leafs and you are still on your high horse that the Bruins will win

I do find it very funny how you are only on here when the leafs lost/losing.

- Santo_44

You said Leafs in 5.

signing tavares was a mistake. zero heart
marner chokes when it counts. max $6m, anything more is a typical dumbass overpay

Yep.

It’s hockey, and this game isn’t over because Leafs.

You’d have to be an idiot to think so.

Any team can come back on any given night. And the Leafs have the talent to make it a possibility.

Rolling out the insults already.

They have a chance to win the series against Boston at home...and they suck. Not looking good for Game 7.
- Steven_Seagull

if babs was smart he would have a monitor up in the change room with this feed so that his team could see how little we believe in them and his coaching 👍

might give them a spark 🙏🏿

Yup.

And I was wrong about that.

But Leafs in 5 or Bruins in 5.

Hm. I wonder who’s closer right now?

At first I thought it was because he was tired, as he had been out there for a while, but yeah...that was bad.
- Steven_Seagull

I’ll go ahead and just let him off the hook because he’s pretty and he missed games and he doesn’t get to play with Matthews yada yada yada

That's untrue. Check games 1, 3 and 5. It's right there. You can go back on the links from the blog.

I see so many similar traits from last year late into a series.

Inability to kill a penalty.

Inability to win a draw

Gardiner being Gardiner.

Only one line in the top 2 able to score

Unable to play against the forecheck/cycle.

Great early on in a series but not in a game where they could advance.

I hope I'm wrong I truly do. But I fear I'm not.

Honestly, I tried the same blind optimism you, Roger and Burn have for 15 odd years and it never ever worked for me. I'm hoping it works for you

Anyone notice when in Boston if a leafs player throws himself into the glass after a goal? I notice Boston does that a lot here, gives me douche chills.

Like I said.

The Leafs have given us all the reasons to be positive about them winning this series.

Just like how the Caps have given us all the reason to believe they will win. How St Louis gave us all the reason they were going to win.

Is it being a homer? No. It’s using logic instead of negativity.

im sure the bruins players would do that in boston as well, it's just the leafs own them there so they dont get the opportunity

It’s incredible. All the soft plays aside I at least expect him to put an effort in when the puck is there.

So logic now means blind optimism.

I didn't know Websters made that change but good to know.
