He had that nice pass to Rielly for the first goal... then it was all down hill from there. |

Whatever line goes up agains that big line will have a sub-par series statistically. The Tavares line started strong, but the rat pack has taken the advantage.
Let’s just hope the trend continues and the Leads win the next one. |

Brown was good, Tavares was decent, Marner had a bad one. Nylander's spin no look pass from down low is annoying but he got a bit dirty tonight. Rielly was good, Gardiner is BALLLLLs |

Fire the assistants first.
Because the reality is, he's still one of the best coaches in the world and there aren't any better alternatives to replace him with as the best free agent coaches are off the market. |

Leafs have 'em right where they want them. Game 7 in their building - floater_willy
quite honestly... I'm glad the game is on the road... Babcock doesn't chase the matchups on the road - because he can't...
but if they don't more out of Nylander - who did NOT do much today (I'm being polite) the third line becomes a non-man's land.
and clearly Marner can't keep killing penalties and maintain a good defensive posture with the beating he's taking.
I think its time for Shanahan to have a pointed conversation with Nylander - who can have his Dad on the phone if he wants.
seriously , what the fack was he doing out there? |

I wasn't being sarcastic. Boston had 4 penalty minutes, we had 6
The difference is, we didn't capitalize on our opportunities. Or did you miss that? |

The usual suspects are here after a Leafs loss. Nowhere to be seen when we win though. |

Tavares has to have a big game. He's got 1 goal in 6 games. He can't win every game, but they signed him for this moment. He's gotta have one big game and score some goals.
Bergeron's line is good? No poop. Be better. He's in his prime, now is the time to step up. |

Pull the goalie without possession then put Marleau out AGAIN in a critical time. (frank) Babcock |

you couldn't be more wrong... Brown was fine.
problem is neither Marleau nor Brown have any idea what Nylander is going to do... shift to shift he's like different people.

Gardiner was so bad
It's crazy that Marner can look slightly above average for a game, and people harp on him for not doing enough. I agree that he didn't but damn.. that's a testament to how good he really is.
The D was mostly quiet, and that's a good sign. |
