He played too much last year and his stats reflected it in the playoffs.

His playoff numbers are much better this year after resting more, in part due to an injury so it may have been unintentional but worked nonetheless.

I live just outside of Nashville. I have to drive about 45-60 minutes to get to Centennial [the Preds practice rink] and others in town. Not too many. I just don’t have much time with work and personal life to commit to a league anymore with that kind of drive. Being married doesn’t help either.

Less than 50% on the PK and an equally bad powerplay isn't going to win many games.

There is enough talent on this team to be better on both sides. They really need to address the coaching in the off-season. They are just epic-ly bad.

The refs totally put away the whistles and Leafs were getting mugged everywhere, but that's the NHL standard and it applies to all teams. It happens all the time and the Leafs need to overcome that.

Actually, I have been paying attention. The refs were not a problem games 3 and 4 after the Kadri suspension. I'm sure Shanahan (who accompanied Kadri at the hearing) showed them the missed calls in that game which made it get out of control. There are things that happen behind the scenes we're not privy to. You think the league likes it when their refs determine the outcome of a game and are called on it?

Refs were good in TO. And by good I mean only slightly biased towards Boston.

Game 5 could have very easily been another poop show the way they were letting Boston players go all night. Wouldn’t surprise me if Game 7 is more of the same, but the Bruins back to game 2 behaviour.
