God I hope Boston wins. Outside of seeing the Flyers win there is not a lot in hockey that is more entertaining to me than the B's being the thorn in Toronto's side again and again over the years.

I just have this feeling the veteran d man we add is spurgeon. There were talks of us discussing him at the deadline. Hes a fletcher guy and seemingly would be a good fit for vigneault system. Hayes is the center that seems writing on the wall-ish. He signed with vigneault in 2014 out of all teams. He multiple times referenced he enjoyed playing for him. All just seems to make too much sense. Kruger could be the bottom 6 guy. Good vet leader. Strong possession and PK-er.

I dont trade #11. If were building this team right itll be our last chance for a lottery pick for a while. You take the pick to add another high end prospect to the system. Because at some point like all good teams do someone will want more than we can give them and we will need an ELC to replace him. We have 10 picks. Move a 2nd or later in a trade if you have to. We got Farabee at #14 and he looks like he could make the nhl next year at some point and contribute. We can definitely get a worthwhile player at 11.

I'd be very interested in Jason Zucker if the Wild move him. There were rumors of him being shopped at the deadline and with Fletcher's familiarity with Minnesota a deal could get done.

The strangest thing of all this is that at some point in time someone decided a woman who only sang at a few Flyers SCF games needed to be memorialized in bronze. Why not a team founder, Flyers HOF player, Gene Hart or how about even something commemorating the wives carnival? Even if you remove the scandal from the equation it just seems like a bizarre decision that it was ever even commissioned in the first place.

That's the last I'm gonna say on the matter. No one is going to change anyone's mind on this.

I agree with this, but my hatred of Boston fans/teams across all sports trumps my hatred of the Leafs or Habs fanbases. I used to hate Toronto, but do like their young players now. It's just their fanbase. But I'm at the point where I want Toronto to get rid of Boston and then hope to see them exit soon after. Just get Boston out, the sooner the better.
