The good news is Columbus is rested and ready to smack whichever rival team makes it out of game 7. - Sabre_Tooth
And that could be a problem when teams go back to hibernating they lose their killer instinct and are very rusty a team like the leafs or Boston could come in and take game 1 and 2 before Columbus Wakes up

False on all accounts. they'll roll into next season with Raanta starting and Kuemper backing up, and will have no issues what so ever with it. A smart team would trade for Kuemper at the TDL to back up. - TheSabresTaco
I don’t think there’s any possibility of kuemper not being the starter he won the job he put up ridiculous numbers to almost
Get the coyotes in the playoffs i’m thinking when the voting comes out for Vezina he will have crazy amount of votes for him imo
But you could be right about them have both of them will see

You should really spend about 10 minutes looking into the successes Raanta has had there. I would be absolutely floored if Arizona traded Raanta, for a 5th no less, but even traded him at all. He's statistically one of the best goalies in the past 3 years.

Goaltenders really don’t go for that much that’s why im putting that 5th value on him if he was younger (25 )he get a good package .
And I do agree he’s been very good that’s why I think he fit here perfect but with Kuemper taking over and him On a great contract they might dump him and sign some players in UFA with them trying to get Phil Kessel

I will venmo you $10 if Raanta doesn't start (excluding injury or other unforseen off ice factor) next season. In Arizona.
Kuemper had an excellent end of the season, but there's little doubt that they value Raanta more.
One of these days he's going to be that giant weed that was hiding behind the landscaping then just pops out one day, you're like fuuuuuuuu.. where'd you come from you big bastard - TheSabresTaco
Half of NHL Network doesn't seem to know he plays in the league, so this is probably spot on.
The leafs were in the other conference and always on the Canadian channels with the rabbit ears.
They were kinda likeable . Wendel Clark, Doug gilmour.
Now they invade our arena ... boo - Boss34
Yeah, I have to admit growing up in Buffalo the Leafs were my 'second' team when they were in the Campbell conference. They had Eddie Olcyzk, Curtis Joseph ect.. And you had to watch Don Cherry during the intermission.
Nowadays I hate that they invade our arena and we suck so bad we just let em buy all our tickets. I also hate their 'center of the hockey universe' B.S. We had to settle for 'Hockey Heaven' B.S.
So yeah, Bruins in 7! And hopefully they get swept in the second round by the Islanders or whatever.
