I also disagree with the contention that the Sabres aren't in a salary bind. If they re-sign Skinner, they have around $17m to sign 5 players. That's not much for a team that desperately needs more skill.

If Skinner doesn't re-sign, then yeah, i won't worry about it. But Okposo is shot, kaput, done.

time to shed all of the crap from raw deal tim murray


IMO moving him and a few other cast offs is the most important thing right now (scandella, girgens, lockport larry and sobotka)

if you can't move them, bury them in the AHL

Would absolutely move him for our late 1st. That 6 million can be used for a player now. The 1st rd pick won’t be in the NHL for 4 years. Could you trade it for a player now??? Sure but that’s almost the same as just signing a guy off FA for 6mil.

We will never win with a 6 million boat anchor on the roster like him.

I've always said to move our late 1st and Okposo, get rid of him and his bad contract.
