But you're acting like a minor penalty or two minor penalties are equivalent to a 5-minute major. They aren't. SJ scored 4 goals on that PP. They could have scored at most two PPGs if two minors were called. After going down 3-0 in the third, SJ played 25% of the period with the man advantage, and they took the lead in that span.

Do you think SJ ties the game or takes the lead if anything other than a 5-minute major is called here? I don't.

seeing a serious injury should have no baring on the penalty

if a rule was broken a penalty is suppose to be called accordingly

you can't add to the penalty due to an injury, the exception is bleeding from high stick because it's a rule
