Yikes. I don't know if he's falling apart or is improperly used in Nashville, but he had a rough year for the salary he makes.

I'm not passing on a chance of adding a top 6 and potential top line scorer for under 1M just to unload a contract that has little bearing on the short term cap space of the team. This team is no where near a crisis. Ridiculous.

Take care of McCabe and Ullmark.

If you move Okposo for that lasted first, you clear up $6 more and can comfortably sign a stop gap 2C, or trade futures to acquire that

Or, you dump some garbage salary, keep Okposo, use that 1st and/or Risto to trade for a long term 2C and not shell out ridiculous money for the potential to sign Duchene or Hayes.

Here is my self absorbed opinion. Trouba is a beast and would a fan favourite here in Buffalo. I dislike Okposo as much as everyone else here but I’d rather package Nylander and another piece to get rid of him rather then the late first.

Whether we use the pick, or trade it for top 6 help, it is a valuable resource. Give someone Nylander and the blues 2021 2nd to take Okposo off of our hands.
