Screw Babcock. Such an overrated coach. Not to mention he screwed us over last time. We shouldn’t be crawling back to someone like that.

Keefe is the only TO coach that we should be interested in.

Haven't heard an interview or anything, but I doubt he'd take an assistant job if he didn't.

really have no idea...but one thing, I get the idea that the pegulas don't really trust very many (if any?) people...I think lindy is someone they'd trust to take care of their baby

I think " their baby" is the buffalo Bill's

I bet the pegula's are knee deep in NFL draft

I think that's part of our overall problem.

They better not hire another president of hockey operations, because it didn't work the 1st time.

Good thinking. Kim's got it.

My point was it sounds like they want to be in charge. They probably want a "yes man" and Lafontaine wasn't that guy. So if they do hire a "yes man" president then whats the point. Pure Speculation on my part.

I see your point, but maybe they can find a yes man that actually knows what he's doing?

Someone who could report the facts and give them some solid choices. Let them make the final decision, between a few good ideas?

I stayed up and watched both games last night, it’s easy when the games are entertaining.

I wish I could have fun watching the Sabres like Kim does

I would be ok with that. Plus Ruff coached Bott's as well, so I would think there is a respect level there.

It's possible, but we really have no idea if they do trust him or have any reason to think Lindy would be good at it. This is all sentimental.

Nobody knows what happened with him. Sometimes people will make allusions or imply things, but I haven't heard anything reputable. I haven't even heard much that was disreputable. The prevailing theory was something about Ryan Miller. Patty La wanted him or something?

Did Mark Recchi's name come up anywhere....other than via this post? The Pittsburgh connection is all I'm thinking, no comment on whether he can be a head coach and be successful
