I think he signs here
I’ve thought so all year . Not a pipe dream st all other than our taxes - Shuswap Wap
Well, he'll be the most coveted UFA Dman, is a 2 x Norris winner and 30 other teams will be trying to sign him.
He could go to a contender, a warm climate, or back to his hometown of Ottawa.
Not a lot of compelling reasons to sign with Vancouver |

Petey - Bettmanhatesus
Best young swedish star.
Think about when Brian Campbell chose Chicago because of it’s young stars. He left SJ as well to go there before they were any good. |

I’m not saying I want him here ‘cause the term would probably suck but I have to believe that Benning will get it done if EK is interested |

precisely why they need a pres in place before this happens. |

I don't think that would stop teams from being interested.
I think most teams could make some moves to free up $ to sign EK if they wanted to.

And that’s where we could come in to take on some bad contracts and picks
Also, think I went 1/8 in my pool. Sweet. |

I don’t believe anyone who says they had a perfect bracket - Nucker101
I have a perfect first round but I didn't choose a second round or a third. Just a first and finals. Too lazy to pick who was going to play each other in the 2nd round and conference finals.
Bos Sj final for me.
If Tb, Nsh, Wpg, Pit made it out of the first round either of my teams weren't going to make it so I just made them lose.

I think they should take on two bad contracts that end at the end of the next year, nothing longer then a year. I think those 6th round picks could be useful because you can't get something for nothing to often but trading up from 6th's to 2nd or 3rds would suffice for taking on a bad contract for one year |

Ya, taking on one bad contract would be fine, though not sure who has to dump one that doesn’t involve a NMC.
The sixth for contract + third sounds feasible. |

That surprised me to. Main page on website, commercials on tv, radio spots all seem to focus on blue jays.
But same company that owns Sportsnet owns the blue jays so I really shouldn’t be that surprised. |

Guerrero is coming to the Blue jays line up and the Jays have him hyped as the 'top prospect in baseball' so the focus is shifting to Blue Jays. Raptors will most likely choke soon so the coverage will be on a medium level.
I'm willing to bet the Leafs sent the networks a little 'hush money' to deflect away from the Matthews/Babcock rift and some of the other sh!t going on in leaf land.
NYI is in...Tavares is out...love it. |

Ferland and a RHD is all we need for next year.
Hopefully a good player falls to us in the draft and we can go from there.
One more year of building with Hughes Petey Boeser and Bo and we should be looking at competing in the following season.
Hopefully lol |

Not buying it, Toronto is TSN and Sportsnet universe, I watched a segment after the game last night in which the host stated at the top “who do we blame”, Babcock got a pass but Kadri is the guy shouldering the blame in TO.
Personally I think Babcock is hugely overrated, but back on topic, you are correct they’re pumping up Guerrero and I cannot wait for another epic fail from that city.
It would be fitting to see something happen where he is sidelined for 3 months.
