not sure, but it probably isn't too far-fetched to say he has some interest in those two players specifically if he is willing to fly to Sweden to watch them. - Codes1087
They go to u18s every year no matter where it is. Last chance to see basically half of the first round of players. |

Beauty. Isn't Broberg the next Edler? Wasn't Edler a 3rd round pick - manvanfan
I feel like the Swedish dmen are more realistically projected to top out as 2nd pairing dmen, that's fine for drafting at 40th overall like Woo, but not #10.
If we draft one, I hope I'm wrong. |

If they draft Broberg, I’m pulling a minivan and banning myself from here for the entire off-season
He’s a guy I’d be OK taking 40th, not 10th - Nucker101

scored two goals in their OT loss. - manvanfan
decent hands and seems to like taking too the puck to the net, I'll try to find ore of him. I just don't like judging prospects based on highlight videos, I prefer more shift to shift type of videos. Which are hard to find for prospects who don't play in the WJHC/U18's or playoff NCAA/CHL games |

Drafting for need = Juolevi
Drafting bpa = boeser and Elias - CanuckDon
Do you really not think the second best Dman won't be better than the 9 th ranked forward

It's like what you say about the Canucks D, being of the best on a below average group doesn't make you anything special.
The 2nd best dman would be ranked higher if there actually was a clear cut one |

It’s a forward heavy draft. No reason to force your pick based on need. They desperately need skill more than anything else. (frank) position. Draft the most skilled player available |

Just goals. It looks like he's got a real good shot and a quick release. Skates well. Is listed 6'1" 170 lbs but looks to use his body like a 190 lb player.
He's a rookie and was close to a ppg and plus 19 in regular season.
The front of the net is where goals are scored. Something I like about Boldy too, isn't afraid to take the puck to the slot. |

Truthfully what I have seen with most of the D makes me wonder what all the complaining is about. Is there a Dahlin or Hughes no but there are some very good
Dmen.
I was watching Vlasic and thought I would absolutely like him. I see him turning out to be exactly like his cousin

thanks, definitely an intriguing prospect. Fits the "lanky with room to physically develop" type that I prefer as well |

I have liked Vlasic in this tournament too. Judd Caulfield and John Beecher look like good 2nd/3rd rounders that will play bottom 6 NHL roles. Size and speed but lack offensive skills. Kind of like Adam Lowry type. |

It comes down to what our own eyes tell us. I have not been overly impressed with the forward grouping. I seen most of the top names play now and there are some decent players. Like I said before I see 4 or 5 of them being impact NHL players, the rest meh.
It all comes down to opinion. |

It's' all subjective, if you prefer the dmen based of off what you've seen then that's perfectly reasonable. |

I like them both but it’s tough to get too excited about either when guys like Zegras are slipping to us in mocks. I’m a broken record at this point, but this draft is fun as (frank). |
