Trading Demko is pretty much a non starter for me. Van would get two better forwards but would it really matter how great the forwards are, if Biega is going to be on the 2nd pair. That hole on the right side D is probably one reason why Toronto can't find there way out of the second round. Zaitsev isn't a replacement for Tanev but he's better then Biega.

Also Markstrom isn't that good.

Next offseason & draft & TDL will have a lot of trading. With e-draft looming it will ensure it. Teams will get on their protection lists earlier. Many losing PO teams could shake it up on top of it all. Cap strapped teams have to trade.
