The hoopla was so pathetic, they tried to recreate a SUPER BOWL like atmosphere and it came off so hokey. A band playing behind the podium, introducing the top 25 players and having them do a cat walk?

Back in the 80s and 90s it was so basic, now? Its just a microcosm of hoe everything is overhyped in 2019.

I quickly read that as "hockey" and thought WTF?
Hockey is so much more exciting than handegg.

As a Giants fan, not so happy with the pick of QB Jones. I've seen him play and I don't think his arm is strong enough to play in a windy Met Life stadium. He would be the type of guy that could do a bit better if he played in a dome. I hope I am wrong...

Hard to make sense of Jones pick. A) you passed up on a couple of pass rushers B) Jones is probably there at 17, maybe even 30 C) he can’t throw downfield (he’s like Pennington) and D) they didn’t want a QB last year, like Darnold, whos way better then Jones.

Definitely a serious brain fart 💨

I think they have to have been worried about somebody from out of nowhere trading up to grab Jones before they picked at #17

As a Michigan fan, Haskins tortured me for the last two years. I am a big believer in that guy, and I think the pick of Jones kind of reminds me of the Rangers picking McIlrath. Kind of a we are the smartest people in the room type pick. A couple of months ago, I was kind of giddy about the prospect of the Giants possibly having Haskins, Barkley and OBJ, not to mention Engram and Sterling. Can't say I like the direction they took at all.

I watched the Giants draft a project QB, a DL who was suspended for a banned substance and CB who is slow. I hate them.

Peter my old friend, what's up? Yea that McIlrath pick I tried for years to make peace with but like Jessimen they still hurt. Picked a guy in the first round, high too who never even was as good as Dale Purinton.

What's up, my friend. Long time. Hope all is well with you and the family.

It's not like I think Jones has no potential. Just think it was the wrong pick and I don't see him as a Top 10 pick type. I think they fell in love with a guy that is more of a projection, and someone that's probably more of a second half of the first rounder. Not a sure thing by any stretch (but I guess very few are).

I could have sworn that OT goal was offside. Whoever that was that dragged their skate at the blueline, bravo
