Why in the world would Calgary even think about trading Tkachuk
- mdw7413

they wouldn't

but

that wont deter him from making a trade offer for him 15 times a day for the next 2 years

NFL draft is insanely boring, and I am an NFL fan. That is just real bad TV right there.
- jimbro83

I had already given up on football, but if I hadn't...the Giants would have pushed me to do it after last night. I can't understand how anyone likes the NFL anymore. Games take forever, there's a penalty or review on nearly every play, and half the "reporting" is on the stupid things that the players do and/or say off the field. It just got to the point where it was too much for me.

Peter my old friend, what's up? Yea that McIlrath pick I tried for years to make peace with but like Jessimen they still hurt. Picked a guy in the first round, high too who never even was as good as Dale Purinton.
- B2B76

God, I remember when we all thought Purinton and Kloucek were "good and provided much needed grit to this team". I hate remembering crappy Ranger teams.

I wouldn't know because I won't be watching.

Thank god I got back into baseball because otherwise I would've been a one-sport guy

I mean if it comes to a point where Tkachuk won't sign and there are whispers he doesn't want to be there, fine, but as of right now it just seems so outlandish.

Tomas Kloucek, he made such a great debut in the last month or 2 of the 2001-02 season or maybe earlier but he got hurt the next training camp and never fully recovered from the knee injury. He really could throw the body.

I know that injuries had something to do with it, but I'll always remember him as a defensive version of Thomas Pock in terms of generating alot of hype and producing for 5 minutes, only for nothing to come out of it.

Not unless the Devils trade out of the top spot. The allure of having two centers like Hughes and Hischier is too good. Not to mention Jack Hughes is murdering the U18's.

I can't recall who it was but someone on the Thrashers got steamrolled by Kloucek on a hip check and he was challenged and pasted another guy in a fight. I really thought he was gonna be the next Beukeboom but it wasn't to be.

Good article.

this was just dumb though.."the sheer magnitude of Kakko's unforgettable goal opened a lot of eyes" Who gives a crap about 1 goal in a tournament. The rest of the article makes a good point though
