It's definitely dumb but it is part of the lore of these teams now.

Some of these goal songs and celebrations are just incredibly dumb and annoying now. Like the (frank)ing Maple Leafs goal song. Who TF would pick that?

I still think the best thing in sports was Chelsea (I think, I'll let someone jump in if I'm wrong) chanting at Wayne Rooney on Manchester United (whose wife's name is Colleen):

Colleen is a slapper (British term for slut)
She wears a wonder bra
And when she's shagging Rooney
She thinks of Demba Ba (player from Chelsea)

That game had like 10 fights in the 3rd. Same game Purinton suckered Cairns and Garth Snow just went to pull Dale off and he got a 3rd man in and Gm misconduct. In 2003-04 the Rangers were awful but somehow swept ALL 6 games vs the Isles who were a playoff team that year. Chris Simon, Barnaby and Mess was the best line on the team, very sad.

Barnaby actually had some skill, he could make some great passes and had good hands, just was caught up with the nonsense too often. I HATED when he would fake drop the gloves to draw a penalty, nothing more coward like then when a player would do that.

Barnaby 1 punch KO'd Jim Cummins of the Isles around that time too, couldn't believe it. Barnaby never usually faired well in fights. He did have a good rivalry w Asham for a few years there.
