I don't know, I haven't seen anything yet. That line seems like they've finally turned into a pumpkin.

Yeah them being shorthanded is kinda my point. I don't think it's impossible for the Islanders to crawl out of a 2-0 hole.

I'm not convinced any of those guys will be back at all in this series. I know Svechnikov is skating but I don't totally buy that he's ready. Entirely possible I'm wrong and he's back for game 3, but coaches love to try to mess with their counterparts' heads. Martinook couldn't even stand up less than a week ago, I'm not convinced that he's going to be any big boost to the lineup.

He played game 7 with his leg like that.

Svechnikov has been taking in practices. Ferland, uh... No idea.

Isles should have won that game, though.

Feels like they had their chance in the first two games to take a stranglehold on the series and they just couldn't, and now Carolina gets to actually go home and sleep for the first time in a week.

And have to talk to Islanders fans? Come on. It's like trying to play chess against a jar of mayonaise.

Yeah I can't find/haven't seen much on Ferland. I have to assume he's not going to play this series unless maybe it goes 7.

I don't know what the hell happened yesterday. They pissed away probably 3-4 grade-A, almost guaranteed, scoring chances. Beau pissed himself twice, Komarov flubbed a great chance, and Mayfield missed what should've been a goal off that wrap. It's what makes me confident that they can turn it around, but game 3 is pretty much a must-win for them. Doubtful they can pull a down-3-nothing series comeback out of their asses.

Carolina/Isles series so far reminds me of the Rangers/Kings SCF. No matter what the Rangers did, out played them, luck, etc.. It seemed the kings were destined to win that series and nothing could change that.

Thats why I see the Canes winning, it don't matter if you out play them , you will still lose

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Bad bounces and calls abound, Carolina gave them the lead early and they still couldn't capitalize on beating the backup goalie.

Swung for the fences and hit a double, IMO.

It sounded cool, it had some really cool moments, but the fact that we barely lost anybody was super weird for GOT.

They've gone soft since they stopped working off of what Martin had written already.
