The Flyers are now LONG past 40 years without a Cup, hell even the Islanders are at 36 years without now. - B2B76
Don't look now but the Rangers are now at 25 years. |

Your picks seem pretty solid.
What a great game that was last night. Washington seemed deflated when the Canes picked it up and came back. - Fenrir
The Canes had the 4th best overall regular season record since the All Star break this season, in going 22-9-1 for 45 points in 32 games, trailing only Boston's 48 pts, St. Louis 50 pts, and Tampa's 52 pts, with those other three having played 1 more game in 33 games each.
The Isles in also 33 post All Star reg. season games were 8th best with 40 pts, which was 1 point greater than both 9th ranked Chicago (39 pts in just 31 games), and 10th ranked Columbus (39 pts in 34 games). |

Call me crazy but if we didn't want Dallas to advance another round I would not mind seeing St. Louis raise the cup. That franchise is pretty deserving. |

Dallas vs St. Louis should be a great series. With that said, I like Dallas' top line better than St. Louis. However saying Dallas looks to be deeper up front is just not true. The blues are much deeper at forward than the stars are. Defensively they are very close, goaltending gives an edge to Dallas, but overall forward depth goes to St. Louis without much hesitation. The blues had 13 players with at least 10 goals compared to the stars who only had 7 players with that many. Here are a few more stats to back this up.
Goals For:
Stl-15th
Dal-29th
Expected goals for:
Stl-196.5
Dal-182.5
SCF% (percentage of scoring chances in this team's favor)
Stl-52.2%
Dal-51.3%
HDF% (percentage of high danger scoring chances in this team's favor)
Stl-55.8%
Dal-54.6%

It's not gonna be dumb if the Skins give them a 1st and 2nd this year, plus another 1st next year. |

I think his new nickname is Diarrhea-Faced Rod, although it doesn't have the same ring as "Rod the Bod" |

The Blues coaching change worked wonders for them since January with great help also from Binnington in goal in replacing Allen as their #1 starter. However, that also turned around Allen's game for the better, in him having less pressure in being their backup instead, and making one wonder why he struggled so much prior to Binnington's arrival, as well as during last season. |

I hope Berube wins the Jack Adams, it's another piece of evidence of the Flyers ineptitude. |
