The last time I was up there was 2001 for a Tom petty concert at spac if i recall that's right by the state golf course. Small world that restuarant it was right before a fork to the right I think, used to come up through Amsterdam and ballston spa and passed it on way to rink

SPAC is great venue for concerts. Been to many shows there. Saratoga has been developed significantly in the last 15 yrs, same architecture, with a more upscale vibe. It's gotten really expensive. I actually live in the village of B Spa now. When I was in HS I played for a team that used to play the junior whalers (I think). But I cant remember any of the details of Bingo like you can of Toga. The years between were mired by abuse to the brain

I actually grew up in new Hartford you probably played them too but yea Binghamton was the jr whalers until the rangers came here then they were the icemen, sens and now jr devils if you played the whalers you must be 40 plus

I saw the Cap Dist Islanders at the RPI Fieldhouse in the early 90s. Special guests: Gordie Howe and one of the Hanson Brothers.

Don't remember whom they played, but the CD Isles had David Chyzowski and Dean Chenoweth.

Used to play summer league in the fieldhouse and the fog was so bad you couldn't see people in the far corners of the rink. Every 15*20 mins we would have to all clear the benches and skate around the rink to lift the fog. With all the engineers at that school, still couldn't get the building properly humidified for us kids.

Haha, the hollow sounding ice of Watervliet. Frear park is in Troy, you could play a game in the morning and sleighride in the afternoon. You have a good memory. Most of mine are of Malone, Massena, Potsdam and Lake Placid.
