If Dubas doesn’t, and they don’t make it out of the first round again, he’s (frank)ed. This team isn’t a fringe playoff team. They’re built to win the cup.

Should have gave Matthews and Nylander some tougher assignments and competition in their 1st couple years together. This is on management why we are paying so much in salary. It's not the players fault, they don't pick their ice time etc.

Instead they made Kadri do all the dirty work ( and his linemates ) but he was already under contract for a great #.

Just a thought, maybe Matthews/Nylander don't put up the huge #'s playing in Kadri's spot 16-17 and 17-18.

That’s why Hyman plays a top 6 role. You need some grit, skill, and defensive awareness on every line.

Nobody will offer-sheet Marner.

If you look at the compensation, teams can give Kapanen and Johnsson reasonable offers for a 2nd round pick.
