Yes
The other feathered one.

Their team sucks now, and they know it, and the only joy in life is for us to get beaten by someone else. They know this and it is going to stay that way for awhile. This is a small measly percentage of Hawks fans that live here, the others have lives and actually get out of their basements.

As Squatchy put it so eloquently; I’m in my mom’s basement, snorting string cheese and jamming out to Nickelback.

Turris' buyout would be a 2 million cap hit for the next ten years... Huh...

Poile has done a lot of good things in his day, and some of his mistakes can be forgiven given the circumstances at the time. However, signing Kyle Turris to a 6yr/$6m AAV contract was a reach. He had a particularly down season, so based on his career stats you could expect some improvement next year.

I would have guessed graded parmesan and Disturbed. I think Poile has been better with trades in the offseason or early on. Fisher was probably the best deadline acquisition for the Preds.

Fish is a good one, but his best deadline acquisition is still probably the guy he traded your namesake for.

David does do his best work in the off-season, so I'm hopeful he can work some of his magic this year. He's been better with trades than free agency, but thankfully he seems past the days where he needs to overreach and oversell us on guys like Stalberg and Lombardi. (Poor Matt) I admire his patience and stubbornness at times, but I think it works against him at the deadline. He doesn't want to overpay for the guys he really wants so he settles, and sometimes overreaches on plan B. It's the only way I can explain him giving up a #1 pick for Hartman, and all the assets he traded away to settle for Turris... (Not a deadline deal but similar principal) In retrospect, maybe that's one occasion he should've overpaid for the guy he really wanted.

You are correct....Forsberg. I was kind of meaning an immediate impact like what Duchene or Zuccarello are doing in the playoffs this year. We really havent gotten that type of player over the years. We'll see what happens over the summer.
