Burakovsky looks like someone Shero might target. He'd make a lot of sense in our top 9. Who they target from us will depend on their organizational needs.

Other than that... it's really tough to say, because the Seattle expansion next year will cause some problems. If Shero makes all his moves this year, he may force himself onto the defensive when those hands come apluckin'. Other teams will also have to assemble plans in June when it comes to that expansion draft, which leaves fans in the dark. I think some teams really got nailed by it when Vegas made their team and now most the NHL will become vigilant.

If Shero picks him up, I understand why he does.

Last year, when players got injured, AHL players were being put into the line-up, and they were AHL quality players. The team did not only lack star power, it lacked depth and it was costly. This is something I see Shero for certain address so that he has maybe one try-out spot open for an AHL player to take the next step, but has most of his line-up sealed with NHL players, even with injuries.

Sure. I think the Devs need to get another star. They have enough depth players and character players and special teams players. 1OA helps but they need a game changer as well. I loved Mojo, but another player like him just doesn't move the needle for this team. We have the cap space, use it wisely. All of this will take time to come together. If we make playoffs next year great, but I look at these teams time horizon as 2-3 years from now.

Mojo looked good with the Bruins the last couple games and great for him, but he’s not the guy I want. He’s seems like a quality complementary player not a real play driver. If we are getting one forward free agent I’d hope for someone more dynamic.

Yes, but do we really expect them to be big difference makers next year? They are core pieces moving forward, no doubt. Both should be stars within 2-3 years. Idk how much of an immediate impact we can expect this season though. Nevertheless, I am excited as hell about both of them.

I do believe they will surpass expectations. When you get talent like this, you give them the minutes to succeed. No way Hynes treats them like 4th liners.
