Gotcha
Seems like he’s a guy who’d be thought more highly of, but he’s stuck behind Hughes & Turcotte & Zegras and others - jdfitz77
Yea I’ve heard good things about him. See him as a 2nd round pick though. I think it’s improtanr to keep the late first rounder for that very purpose since we don’t have a 2nd.
Although if the right trade presents itself and we can bring in a top 6 cost controlled forward under the age of 25 then it makes sense to move it. |

That midget Caufield - gerbe75pts
So if we draft him we'll have two Skinners essentially. |

I mean its impossible at this point to ignore the fact that he will score goals at the NHL level I'm just concerned about the rest of the game for him. |

I personally take a Centre at 7. I think with Nylander, Thompson, Olofsson, Smith, Davidsson, Weissbach we have enough guys that can eventually deposit the biscuit once they are fully developed. If they do go winger though Boldy is still my favourite but Caufield is an option I wouldn't mind either.
The Sabres, one way or another, are getting a top 6 contributor at 7 whether they go centre or winger. |

He's too small for the NHL. Buyer beware. |

I want Turcotte, perfect fit. But I think he'll be gone by 7. If Podkolzin is there at 7 tough to say no. Zegras or Boldy make sense though.
I just believe Caufield is a risk because of his size. Not many that small make it to the NHL. If he was 4 inches taller he'd be a top 5 pick no question. I like him, just think he's a risk for a team to pick him top 10. Just my opinion. |

Turcotte won't be available. He is who I wanted if we stayed at 5. Heck I'd even take Turcotte at 3. |

Debrincant is his closest comparable but even he is an inch or two taller and is faster.
I like Boldy because he is the total package. He can set up goals just as well as he can score and is fantastic three zone player. |

Drafting for need in the NHL is not really smart, especially outside the top 3. Your needs now most likely won't be your needs in 2 or 3 years when the guy is NHL-ready. |

Centre is a more important position then winger though. If I have the option of an above average 2nd line winger and an above average 2nd line Centre I am taking the centre. |

Someone is going to slip. If it's Cozens or Turcotte, it's an easy pick.
