We basically traded pick 10 for a potential pro bowl TE and a possible future starting QB.

I still think the Bills won the draft getting Oliver at 9 but the Broncos got 3 guys that were mocked in the first round at one point or another with their first three picks (Risner should start at guard for us this year).

What does accountability for the Pegulas look like? Change in ownership? Would a president of hockey ops make different decisions at the relevant times?

I can only dream of this. I Don’t care about the Bills anymore but it seems that that’s all they care about. Everything about the Sabres is awful...team, arena, game day experience. I really, really wish they’d sell the Sabres.

The Sabres are in good shape to win from now on, hopefully that starts this coming season. Botts will have to bring in some vets but its hard not to like his drafts so far. Drafting is the most important aspect of any sport. If you don't draft well, you won't have any sustained success.

In terms of the Broncos we have had a solid draft class this year and have the pieces on the defensive side to make noise.
