Thats funny i haven't heard that comparison but i have heard "he's the Jake Virtanen of defence" I don't see why he'd go in the top 10 , and I dont see why we'd take another LHD and a mediocre one at that. It would be a colossal disappointment if we choose him at 10, maybe in the 2nd.

One tourney is not a great way to form an opinion of a player. He's been playing in Sweden 1 on the best team in the league and he's touted as this high offensive prospect, but i keep wondering where's all this offence? 2 goals and 7 assists in 40 games? I have seen him play, at this tourney and on AIK and he doesn't interest me in the slightest, especially at 10, but speaking of suggestions, i'd suggest you raise your expectations for a 10th OA.

Minivan and Nucker touched on it yesterday and I have been on it for some time about the skill level of players in this draft.

Today's game showed the US team was head and shoulders above the Canadian squad.The entire third period was spent in Canadian end. If you have a Canadian forward in your top 10 you may want to remove them.

Podkolzen is also not that good IMO. You have about 6 US forwards that are very good and after that the pickens get slim.

I got to skim through watching the Russian game yesterday and I didn't move Podkolzin from where I have slotted but I did think he's as good as people that have him at 3oa. (Not me) but people that worry about his production in this tournament in in the MHL, KHL, VHL. As of right now he has the same as many points VS 20 year olds that he has against 18 year olds.

Who is this Canadian Gaunce you speak of? The US had an unfair advantage at this tourney...especially compared to Canada. Guys like Dach and Byram would have made a huge difference

I was not basing my opinion on points. I think he has an injury if not mistaking. I just don't really think he has shown slick moves.

He is responsible in both ends and is a decent top 15 guy. There is also the Russian factor. I just see the Americans head and shoulders above the rest and would take them before him.
