If you had it your way Van would have taken Jusso Vilamaki instead of Pettersson. - manvanfan
I said, Valimaki would be the best defenseman in the draft, he may not or may never be at Heiskanen level, but he will be a good one.
We shall see in 3 or 4 years from now.
Obviously your notebook is full of errors. |

I'm sure JV will be part of many cores over his career. |

Vali has been really good in limited time ...but Dallas has a gem in heiskanen....kid has looked very good these playoffs ...looks nothing like a rookie |

I am looking for a Sunday evening fight, where do you rank my boy Lavoie? - Reubenkincade
I like him if we can get another 1st or trade down to pick him. The 12-15 range. Later is even better. |

Heiskanen Makar was a great draft year for high D picks. Wanted either one but wasn’t happening. EP was a nice consolation 😂 |

Taking on bad contracts is a bad idea. Then we'd be the cap crunched team.
A better idea is to acquire a pending RFA that a cap crunched team knows they wont be able to resign. |

Entertaining though, the reason I come here lol. |

Definitely — though I was expecting/wanting more main characters to die. Gone are the days of the show (books) killing anyone at will
Still think there will be a couple big twists: Cersi prophecy, Azor Ahai, and Tyrion could make a leap. |

Most fans know about the Avs, but Dallas has been a revelation in these playoffs. In addition to the, er, stars, they’ve identified at least three difference-makers in their lineup in Miro Heiskanen, Esa Lindell and Roope Hintz; a classic shutdown centre in Radek Faksa and an emerging power forward in Jason Richardinson. Of those five players, Faksa is the oldest at 25.
This might be the biggest difference between Toronto media and Van media. Toronto pumps up the tires of their own team and Van media pumps up the tires of other teams and puts down there's.

Well to be fair the leafs have been a pretty good team recently and the canucks have not ...there’s obviously overkill in TO but what do you want the van media to be saying about the canucks the last few years ?
Also ...what have the TO media been saying about the leafs after game 7 ? Probably not good |
