Well to be fair the leafs have been a pretty good team recently and the canucks have not ...there’s obviously overkill in TO but what do you want the van media to be saying about the canucks the last few years ?
Also ...what have the TO media been saying about the leafs after game 7 ? Probably not good - Redmile247
The "emerging power forward Jason D ickinson" A late first 2013 draft pick that has 27 points in 105 games.
I've never heard any Van media say that Jake Virtanen is an emerging power forward. Usually it's just how he's an he was a failed 6oa pick and Benning should be fired for it.
Then again, I really have pretty much stop reading any province writer.
As for the Leafs, IDK they win the cup every year but don't make it out of the first round. |

Everyone has a short term memory.
Richardinson has been playing good on a playoff team and JV hasn’t done anything in months. Plus draft position isn’t comparable really.
You watch after this year all the overreaction to this years playoffs. Teams will be thinking all they have to do is get in.
As for the leafs they were one of the best teams most of the season. Do you not remember when the canucks had regular season success? They got lots of praise at the time ...it was later when they kept the twins for another 4 years that the media started hating
Edit: lol it won’t let me use his name on here |

i saw he fired his agent yestday/today per Rick D.
I have a feeling he negotiates a 1 year deal with VAN, cheap. |

could this mean something? |

I think in a perfect world, they sign him to 900k to 1 mill 1 way contract, he plays and produces and the Canucks can either establish him as a new player who is responsible (unlikely), or, he plays his way to a point where another team has interest and can get something for him.
Qualifying him and retaining his rights till 2023 or 2024 while he plays in the KHL would be a waste imo. |

I have never seen even 10 seconds of Game of Thrones or Sons of Anarchy . Couldn't even tell you what it's about.

never seen Sons of Anarchy either, but heard good things.
Game of Thrones is a worthwhile investment if you have the time |

I haven't seen enough talent from him to care. IMO he should be developing in Utica which means he would need to be on waivers. I put him in the Brendan Gaunce Reid Boucher category .

i imagine you can fit an episode or two in between lunch at 12pm and chair yoga at 4pm, not a ton to do at old folks homes when nothing is scheduled |

Last time the Canucks had success, I joined here at the end of it and before that I really don't remember reading the province writers. So that's my bad.
It just seems that any praise is superseded by something another team is doing better. |

I haven't seen it either, but from a value standpoint, Id rather get something for him, than holds his rights while he plays in the KHL. |
