I haven't seen it either, but from a value standpoint, Id rather get something for him, than holds his rights while he plays in the KHL.

With Bennings (his birthday today) Job on the line , I am not sure how many tweeners the team will carry? Truthfully if they have any of those types of contracts on the team next year I think it will be a more proven Granlund.

Perfect example of wasting/devaluing an asset by improper usage. He’s a creative finesse player. Expecting 5v5 production with incompatible linemates is almost as crazy as not having his skillset on PP1 to collab for dominant unstructured puck possession with guys like Petey & Hughes (the Canucks PP is completely structured - X’s & O’s by Newell Brown who thinks he can strategize better than the improvisational brilliance of young stars whose skillsets he’ll never be able to comprehend).

If you guys enjoyed the USA U18 PP we had the pieces to replicate it late in the season & the coaches didn’t see it.

Last time the Canucks had success, I joined here at the end of it and before that I really don't remember reading the province writers. So that's my bad.

If you get lucky and win the lotto then it speeds it up ...or get a guy like EP...all the negativity would come from wanting the rebuild to start sooner and to be pilling on the draft picks. When that doesn’t happen and other GMs are doing that the media will tend to sour and start the hate parade.

It’s funny all the talk about trading the twins much like all the iggy trade talk years earlier and what do the flames have to show for the deal ? That’s also on scouting but still lol

Well to be fair the leafs have been a pretty good team recently and the canucks have not ...there’s obviously overkill in TO but what do you want the van media to be saying about the canucks the last few years ?

It's not good and rightfully so. Babcock is overrated especially with that contract and expectations are high in TO as they should be. Plus the rifts between players and Babcock are obvious. read something yesterday that Babcock will be approached by ownership/mngt and told to change his ways. A team like TO should not be getting punted first round every year and people want answers.
