Would be a steal for a rebuilding canucks team with zero cap issues
I’d rather keep dube and his ELC to help with any cap issue
I can’t remember if this is a good draft or not as it seemed to change depending on where the canucks were in the standings so the first rounder is probably best to keep too
How disappointed is everyone going to be when the top 6 winger (to play with Bo) is another guy like Markus Granlund, and the top 4 RHD is another guy like Eric Gudbranson?

Apologies if this has been gone over before, i haven't been here very much of late.
Read a dubious rumor (via Botchford) that involves PK Subban to Vancouver.
Would somehow involve Van taking James Neal off the Flames, with the sweetener of it's 1st rounder and a prospect like Dube.
Vancouver would then flip the 1st and prospect from Calgary, plus ??? to take PK's salary off of Nsh.
Thoughts?
Seems like a steep price to pay from Calgary's pov to get out from under Neal's contract.
Nashville i could see as interested in moving on from PK and bringing up Fabbro to play with Josi, Ekholm, Ellis and Hamhuis, et al.
I know people were discussing the potential trade for PK years ago and have likely soured on him now.
I'd be good with trading for him under certain conditions.
Trade Tanev for prospects/picks.
Trade Sutter and Eriksson (if we're acquiring Neal).
Trade the Calgary package plus Goldobin and Hutton for PK
Edler, Hughes, Stetcher, Subban is a much improved top 4 imo. - dbot

I assume that would be the final nails in JB’s coffin
Makes two of us, but there is definitely a condescending and superior attitude being exuded from mini.

He gets that way whenever someone doesn't agree with his ELITE comments, which should be expected from someone with the ELITE hockey knowledge and super scouting ability, of someone like him.
Help me out, are you stating skill level has nothing to do with playing on a development team, that they just choose mediocre skilled players and hope for the best. And then they can hand out participation ribbons at they end.
Of course skill level has something to do with the team you play for, teams draft for a specific skill. - Makita
One of the biggest things i've noticed from this tournament alone is the offensive creativity from USA is far superior to Canada's. Granted Canada has much better all around players but the difference between Zegras, Hughes, Boldy compared to Newhook, Krebs and Tracey in terms of what can be done in the offensive zone was night and day.
Here's the post. I underlined and highlighted a few points for you.

I was only just learning about the comprehending thing, by reading Moby Richard, which was being posted on here.
So, blame Neem for taking that valuable learning tool away from us less intellectual ones.

Poll question. How high would you pick someone who you think will be in the NHL in a bottom 6 role that lacks higher offensive upside? A 3rd liner projected player.

I'm just saying, I don't think guys like Panerin/Karlsson are going to sign here as UFAs, and I don't think the fan base (me especially) has the appetite for what it would actually cost to trade for *cringe* P.K. Subban or Fabbro. So now you're in the secondary market, and it's still going to be expensive, and you say to yourself "Pearson has been a good fit, maybe we can find another guy like that, or maybe Beartschi comes back and finally delivers a whole season"...
