Lance Lysowski, piggybacking off of Wawrow from a week or two ago, says "A source told me the Sabres and Jeff Skinner continue to have 'positive' contract talks. No significant developments, but it's too soon for fans to panic. Both sides are still interested in getting a deal done." - TheSabresTaco
If he was interested in signing, he would have gotten a tattoo of RJ on his lower back. I haven't seen any evidence of that |

I’ve confirmed Anthony Johnson wanted no part of being on the #Bills. It was widely known to the point that Buffalo indeed did 1. Not draft him and 2. Not offer him an UDFA contract
I wonder why.. I thought he loved buffalo ? - gerbe75pts
My best guess is look at how many WRs they have now. He would have to finish in the top 8 to make the roster and it is going to be tough now
Locks:
Brown
Beasley
Jones
Foster
Probable locks:
Ray Ray
Mackenzie
Then there are a bunch of guys they brought in
Stills
The CFL guys
The returner
Easley
etc etc
To me it's probably a numbers game why he wouldn't want to sign in Buffalo |

I'll get a tattoo of RJ on my back if the Sabres resign Skinner. |

The opener will be very telling IMO
If Allen and company can gel and they light up the Jets they could be a 10-11 win team
I really really like what they did this offseason.
I would still like to see an Edge rusher signed (Ziggy please)
But this season all falls on Allen.
It's weird because this is probably the most complete roster the Bills have had in the last 15 years or so.

and the schedule is remarkably easy....jets X 2, Miami X 2, giants, redskins, titans, ravens, browns....
that's probably 6 wins in there.... |

I think the Browns are going to win the AFC North
Their D is stacked
Plus with the additions on offense and no Hue Jackson...
But for sure that's 6 wins right there out of those groups
They should sweep the Jets and Dolphins but we know they won't, if they do this season could be something special |

just going 4-2 in the division will go a long way. TB12 cant last forever...
but in reality, we all have no idea...none. could be 4-12, could be 8-8, could be 10-6.
we really have no idea until we get an answer on Josh |

A take of the hot variety coming from me:
The Bills will beat the Patriots at least once this season
September 29th game against New England in Buffalo
The Bills will win that game
Just call it a hunch.
The last time the Bills played on my birthday they destroyed the Ravens in what was the Kiko Alonso game |

The Bills will go 14-2 before they beat the Patriots twice. |

I agree with that. That Patriots aren't as impressive as they used to be. I actually love Brady. I love his excellence, but hes on borrowed time, the shows gotta end soon.

There is alot wrong with basing an evaluation solely, or heavily on +/-, however it is just as egregious to omit it out of hand.
Context is required for sure.
I believe the relative value is important to consider rather than the raw number.
When two players are close, throw it out ... when there is a Continental Divide between them, it provides another point of value. - IonSabres
Crosby was a +18 and Malkin was a -25. Malkin was on the ice for more goals against than Risto. Pens should trade Malkin. |

Rutherford talked about guys "that are too comfortable where they are in life and what they've accomplished"...it couldn't be more obvious that he was talking about Geno if he NAMED him.
but how can ya blame Malkin? Hes climbed every mountain. Cups, Conn Smythe, Scoring titles, I THINK an MVP...
the guy has done it all and I bet that big body is really beat up. |
