I'm learning that myself. I'm finding it is not good for one's mental health to debate with people who defend/see nothing too wrong with the Eriksson contract. I'm seriously debating pouring a far too large vodka & soda.

The only free agent signing Benning’s made that actually worked out is Vrbata, if I recall correctly. That’s a lot of misses.

I don't think he or the team wanted to part ways but financially Washington couldn't afford it. One of the podcasts I listened to said that he loves Washington and it will always be a special place to him as his almost entire NHL career was there. But he chose Vancouver as he liked the direction the team was headed (pre Pettersson)
