Not that Dzingel is a guy I would be targeting, but in Columbus he is getting 4th line minutes and in game 1 and 3 of this series he had the least ice time of all CBus skaters. Game 2 he was a healthy scratch.
Not so sure he'd be interested in signing long term there. May not be a Torts kind of player.

Cool let him be a 6m player somewhere else

If he wanted 4.5 he can come here and center the 3rd line but some team will pay him like he’s a 2nd line or 1st center

- gerbe75pts

Dude he IS a 2nd line C. I mean, this has to mean something to you, who seems to really love RNH.

Hopefully you trade for one but the only free agent that is 1/2 center is Matt Duchenne

On and pavs

The rest are players that would be 3rd lines on a good team

No punishment for Marchand from the NHL.

I hate this f'n league. I hate it so much. No wonder they are bankrupt every year and on the verge of collapse. I hope it does.

So I'm "probably not" right because Jason Botterill, numerous qualified media sources and Jeff Skinner's agent have all repeatedly said there's mutual interest in getting a contract done. Alrite.
- TheSabresTaco

I'm not sure even where we are at now?

I called bs on any media reports including skinner contract.

What is botts supposed to say.

We know Jeff is gonna test the free agent market , during the tampering period. Then check back with us.

Dont worry Sabres fans , no reason to hold a grudge agaisnt a guy for checking his options?

That wouldnt fly around here.

Skinner would have signed already if the mutual interest was "great"

He may already be signed, waiting for the perfect season ticket invoice date to announce it?

Could be anything

“You could be right. Probably not.” Is about as good as poop gets around here. It’s the equivalent of calling someone “IDIOT” but kinda politely.
- Der Kaiser

Are there some rules posted somewhere?

I'm not flat out saying Taco is wrong, neither of us know.

Same reason he shouldnt say I'm %100 wrong. We both have opinions.

A guy that's a healthy scratch is more of a buffalo type guy then a torts kinda guy.

The guy with the Stanley cup ring and in the 2nd round of the playoffs sees a lack of heart or effort and benches him.

He's more a buffalo guy? Great, play him with Sam.

But you would be ok paying RNH $6m and give up assets to get him? I get it. Hayes isn't as flashy or as big a name as the guys you like, but $6m is a very reasonable price for a player of his caliber. $5m-$6m is the salary range for centers 30-55 in term of cost.

Not that i disagree with this line of thinking, because I do get what you're saying, but an RNH trade means swapping cap hits. Assuming its some kind of 1-for-1 with Risto, the cost to the cap is 600k for two more years. Emphasis on two, since hayes would be getting a brand new deal, which the bulk of would come out of his prime.

There really was nothing there that is suspension worthy

He is the biggest POS in the league but if the league suspended him for that there would thousands of clips sent into the league from teams daily.

A fine does no good there either cause whats $5,000 to him?

He punches a guy from behind in a vulnerable position and he's a repeat douchenozzler. Feels like a suspension of some sort make sense, at least to curb the douchenozzling

If it is seen by an official during a game it is a minor penalty

Nothing more, nothing less
