That's not a wild conclusion, because that's what actually happened. Antipin was even asked if he had a tutor, and he said yes. Hamilton just assumed something and made it up. Then afterwards, P Ham never acknowledged that the incident happened, or that he was wrong.
He should fact check that poop before he makes it a repeated talking point. That's journalism 101.
I'm not a huge fan of Sal Cappacio as a personality, but he has 1000x the credibility with the Bills than P Ham does with the Sabres. - jcragcrumple

He could legitimately be dumb. There really is a possibility he simply couldn't do what was asked of him, and not simply choose not to. - TheSabresTaco

Again, I'm not assuming anything. All of this happened. So when he has been proven to make stuff up, I take everything he says with a huge grain of salt.

And to add to that, just like in school, there are some kids that need additional help. He could need a coach that is able to relay concepts to him in a way that he understands.

My view on the whole issue is that:
They should have a long very frank conversation with any candidate and be sure that both sides of the conversation have a clear understanding of the other sides goals, and plans, and how they hope to acheive both. I don't think either side should make an "on the spot" decision with respect to a relationship that ought to last a very long time, and will only cause a huge disruption and significant setbacks for everyone involved if they act too quickly and make a mistake.
I also think the both sides should make the decision only based on what they believe themselves - without listening to what reporters, or analysts or any other freaking people want to add.
