We did. You conceded that the first was involved, we agreed that the “+” was just an assumption made by Friedman

“Vancouver has confirmed this to me. There was a chance the Canucks were going to get PK Subban that night. The problem was that Pierre-Luc Dubois was not going to fall to Vancouver’s pick, because Montreal knew Columbus was taking him. If Montreal believed that Dubois was going to be available at five, PK Subban could have been a Vancouver Canuck.”

I think this market is going to face a overload of rumours. FA has made it a game for the click bait media...

So a bunch of ifs had to line up before a pick was going to be traded. It was a scenario situation... and the scenario never ever played out. So a consideration.

Also a different time. The Sedins were here. That poop was always going to be a threat ever since they were resigned.

Do you think JB would trade a 1st in a Malkin trade? Do you think he would trade for Malkin at all?

Yes I do, I don’t think FA/JB have interest in being patient.

I doubt Malkin is being shipped out though.

why be patient? this team is on the cusp of greatness.

they should be adding pieces that have them contending for the playoffs next season. remember that they were playing meaningful games in march. a few less injuries and they would have made the playoffs this year. i mean that's just a fact!

We seem to max out of blame at 3 people.

Nonis and Burkie are now off the hook.
Hmmmm...someone should start a rumor of Burke being considered for role of Pres.

Also I love the convenience of the Canucks finally confirming the Subban rumour last year when the team was taking major heat for passing on Tkachuk for OJ

I doubt we get any confirmation on the Lucic rumours from the past

I thought he had already confirmed that he tried to sign him.

Edit. Never mind it, he confirmed he tried to trade for him.

“I spent a lot of time of time working on that (trade) and I guess Boston felt they were getting a better deal from L.A.,” said Canucks general manager Jim Benning.

i read on this website https://bit.ly/2Lcplrk that it was a fact that the canucks would have made the playoffs with less injuries.

can't argue with facts and scientific analysis.
